Itinerary
Day 1: Dibrugarh → Jorhat → Majuli
Morning: pickup from Dibrugarh Airport or Dibrugarh town and a drive through the tea gardens of Upper Assam towards Jorhat. Late morning: Nimati Ghat and the ferry across the Brahmaputra to Majuli (ferry timings depend on river conditions, weather and ferry operations). Afternoon: transfer to the homestay, check-in and lunch. Afternoon / evening: selected attractions such as Auniati Satra, Satra culture, a mask-making workshop, Mishing village areas, handicrafts and local lifestyle. Evening: dinner and overnight stay at the Majuli homestay. Meals: lunch and dinner.

Afternoon: drive to the Kaziranga area in your private vehicle and check in at the homestay. Evening: relax, dinner and overnight stay near Kaziranga National Park. Meals: breakfast and dinner.

An elephant safari may also be available, subject to availability, park rules and charges. Jeep safari charges are extra and not included. After the safari: return to the homestay, breakfast, check-out and the journey back to Dibrugarh by private vehicle, with a drop at Dibrugarh Airport or town. Meals: breakfast and lunch, as arranged.

- Kaziranga safari: zones, timings, availability and permits are controlled by the authorities. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Restricted areas: access to restricted or protected areas needs permissions and is not automatically included.
- Weather and roads: plans may change because of weather, road, traffic or river conditions, or government instructions.
- Accommodation: homestays depend on availability and are simple and authentic rather than hotel-style.
